39 weeks

Had my 39 week appt on Thursday....no change whatsoever! I'm still 1 cm, 50 % effaced, and -1 station....the OB says my cervix is closer to the front? Which is a good thing....anyway....I'm due in two days and my last day of work is tomorrow. Mom comes to Florida on Monday (6/21/10) and I'm totally ready to push this huge baby outta me!!! LETS GO LETS GO. My 40 week appt is on 6/24 which is Thursday and then my OB will schedule a sonogram and induction date around a week later.....41 weeks......i'm literally gonna die if this baby doesnt come before July 1st!!!!

38 wk OB appt

Richard and I went to the OB appt in the afternoon after his oral surgery for the two teeth extractions. He was a little loopy!!! Anyway, my first internal exam wasn't super painful....just uncomfortable. I am 1 cm dialated, 50 % effaced, and the baby is at -1 station. The baby could come any day now!!! WOOHOO

Happy Birthday Aunt Tammy!!! I wish I was in Vermont today to celebrate with my whole family...tonight was fun though. Richard, his mother, and I went to Crazy Buffet for dinner....yummy!! Tomorrow morning Richard is driving his momma to the airport for her two week Puerto Rican vacation. We're hoping the baby sits in there a little while but I don't think it'll happen. I honestly want him to come out right now!!! Actually, on Friday after all the stuff happening tomorrow. After he drops his mom off he has his oral surgery....the two teeth extractions which is around 900 dollars because the dentist is gonna knock his ass out.....woohoo. He's super nervous so the oral surgeon gave him a prescription for valium!!! LOL After his surgery I have to drive his booty home and then go to my 38 week appt. Fun fun!

38 weeks

Today Richard and I went to his oral surgeon for x-ray and a consultation...he is having two of his teeth extracted on Thursday morning. He is very nervous for the general anesthesia and the dentist just handed him a prescription for valium and was like, "you'll be okay. you'll be knocked out!" I thought it was funny...I have my 38 week ob appt. later on in the afternoon on Thursday. I'm wanting this baby to come out soon....for real!!! Richard and I ate firehouse subs for lunch and then I went home to get in my bathing suit and met Devin at our pool in the apt. complex. It was like 90 degrees outside today and sunny....I stayed in the pool most of the time.

37 weeks

I had my 37 week appt. Richard finally came to the appt. for the first time since the gender u/s! We got subway to eat before the appt and then waited awhile to see the doctor. It was a little busy at the office yesterday. Anyway, the resident OB came into the room and checked his heartbeat...it was perfect and my belly was measuring right at 37 weeks. I told her that I had been doing the exercises and she started to feel my belly and couldn't tell if he was still transverse or not. We talked about possibly doing a external cephalic version which would have happened like right after the appt. but the doctor said that they would like to induce me right after so he doesn't flip back around.....or just have a c-section. She left the room to talk to her boss (the main ob at the office) and she came in with her to feel my belly and then all the sudden the baby was head down!!! She said its probably because he is very active and that around 39 weeks they might induce me if i want. I want to see him ASAP but I know it takes awhile for his lungs to mature fully....and want him to bake in there as long as possible.
